First Tri-Media Mini-Olympics By. Abs Damahan General Santos City-(Mindanao Expose’ News/ May 24, 2014) The first Tri-Media Mini-Olympics games organized by the Tri-Media Association of General Santos City and few sponsors from the local businesses and companies based here had just started, this is composed of Print, Radio and Television outfits group. The opening salvo of the Basketball game has started with invocation by Lito dela Pena of DXGS a local radio station based in General Santo City followed by Opening remark also by Ernie Gabonada of Brigada News the same local radio station also based in General Santos City. Message for the Mayor Ronnel Rivera of General Santos City proxy by Mario Basilio President of Local Press Club in General Santos City. The venue of the Mini-Olympics Games is at MSU High School Gym Basketball Court. Badminton games will be held in Nadine Badminton Court Purok Malakas also in General Santos City. Ceremonial Toss is conducted by Bambee Doctolero of Radio Alerto. Schedule of activities for May 24, 2014 (MSU GYM) a. team in round –robin (all morning) elimination, b. Dart (elimination round) (morning and afternoon) and, c. Badmidton (1:00 p.m. Nadine Badminton Court). Schedule of Activities for May 31, 3014 (MSU GYM) finals: a. Exhibition game (3rd place vs. guest team), b. Championship – Basketball, c. Badmidton Championship at Nadine Badminton Court, d. Friendly Match: Gov’t Vs. TMA and e. Championship.
